I went from years of natural hair to a relaxer with Shaakira's help and it has been so wonderful! She give me such a perfect cut that I could play around in my hair in so many ways without feeling like I needed to be a stylist myself. I also like that I don't feel like I have to spend hours on hours when I go there. She's not rushing me, but not having me wait endlessly either. I'm feeling so lucky to have found a great stylist as soon as I decided to get a relaxer!

Salon Naava is an African American–owned salon, but they truly cater to everyone—all hair types, textures, and ethnicities. You can really tell they care about healthy hair and making sure every client leaves happy. Her recommendations and expertise always leave me with the silkiest natural press and beautiful color. Friends and strangers repeatedly compliment my hair and I am definitely addicted to the results!
