Overpriced, Dishonest, Bad Experience My other stylist typically runs very late so in an attempt to save some time I made an appointment with the owner of Salon Montage. It was an evening appointment so I was the only person in there. The salon vibe/ambience felt like a Hair Cuttery. I was never offered coffee, tea, water, or wine. There was no scalp massage during the shampoo. All in all, it was a 2-star experience for 5-star prices. I ended up paying $70 for a simple trim and $55 for a clear glaze. This seemed extremely expensive to me but in an effort to get in and out I didn’t argue with the owner. Once I got home I looked at their website and realized that I was overcharged.
