Salon Freebird

Had an appointment with Sarah regarding hair color but she mentioned she specializes more in hair extensions rather than color and wanted to do a test strand on my hair first. I agreed, not knowing she would cut so much hair that she literally wrapped around her fist. When I noticed how much hair she cut out of my head, she attempted to hide her hand with my hair behind the back of the chair so I wouldnt see in the reflection of the mirror. Despite all that hair she cut out, she still was not able to achieve the right color and I unfortunately would not recommend her for hair color Response: Hi Sarah, Thank you for the response, however I was able to find a Salon locally in Boulder who was able to perform what she referred to as "just a root touch-up" and blend the color beautifully. This was my first visit to Salon Freebird, and it was a positive experience all around! The vibe is super friendly and welcoming. Skyler took the time to do a thorough consult with me, and really listened to my hair goals. She made me feel comfortable in the chair and is easy to talk to! I love my cut and can't wait to go back for color :)

When my wonderful stylist that helped me for over 10 years moved away, she recommended the team at Salon Freebird. I couldn’t be more pleased with every aspect of this salon. They are experts at their profession. I appreciate their kind, approachable, knowledgeable and very helpful suggestions when I’ve asked for help. And I need help. They’ve done an amazing job with my graying, fine hair that has various areas of straight, wavy and curly hair to contend with. Each time I’ve been there, I’ve left with outstanding cuts and color. The salon atmosphere is also very welcoming and comfortable. Highly recommend.

Jeana is fantastic and I had a wonderful experience! I wanted to change my color and I needed a new cut. Jeana listened to what I wanted and gave me advice when I asked. She did an excellent job both coloring my hair and giving me a cut that I love and is easy to style. I highly recommend her to anyone!
