Rachel is the absolute best. She has been doing my hair for well over 5 years and has literally made me fall in love with my unruly hair. She introduced me to hair extensions and I am so obsessed with how she does my hair. She makes me feel like a million bucks whenever I leave her salon. She has so much talent.

I’ve been searching for a stylist like Rach for a very long time. She has a wealth of knowledge in hair care and beauty. She doesn’t pressure you or try to sell you anything. She’s all about you, the client, and she’s damn good at it. She will also educate you on which style or color is best for the current condition/health of your hair but like I said, she doesn’t pressure you. However, I just take her advice because I’m comfortable with her and she knows what she’s doing. Also, she’s fast! Best hair salon in Carson Valley hands down. Friendly and inviting atmosphere.

Rachel is amazing! I have gone to her when another stylist messed my hair up. Now I only trust her. She does exactly what I ask for and more! Rachel fixed my hair after I had brain surgery back in 2017. She was so gentle with my hair and did an amazing job fixing the mess that my neurosurgeon left behind. Thank you Rach for always giving everyone’s hair the love it needs. We appreciate you!

If you are looking for a hair designer... Rachel is your girl! And yes I said that correctly! She is more than a hairdresser... she creates and designs.. you will be amazed at what she can transform! I would never let anyone cut or style my hair! Not only my hair but my daughters as well! And yes she takes kids! She is great with them. Have I mentioned you don't have to spend ALL day at Salon Emerald either... she is good at what she does and fast. I swear I have never walked out of any salon in my life and not spent at least an hour there.... not with Rachel! You are in and out, ready to show off your new cut or color!!! I can not recommend her or her salon enough! Give her a try.... you will not let anyone else touch your hair!
