Salon El Tov

After some disastrous dye jobs and over-processed hair, I’ve been focused on nursing my hair back to health. So, I’ve been getting routine trims when I can and found my way to Yuni and Salon El Tov. Although I went in for a simple trim/haircut, Yuni took such special care of me. I mentioned that I had just gotten a helix piercing, which was a bit sensitive, and she immediately understood and took extra care near my ear during the wash and cut. I also let her know the purpose of the cut and how my hair had been really fried. She treated me with an acai hair treatment (or conditioner?) which made my hair feel AND smell absolutely amazing. I seriously didn’t wash my hair for two whole days after my appointment because I didn’t want to lose that incredible scent! AND, Yuni also gave me a few

First time at a salon in the U.S. after moving from Korea, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! I got both a color and haircut at Salon El Tov through a friend’s recommendation, and Yuni was amazing — super kind, professional, and skilled. The color turned out exactly how I wanted, and the cut was perfect too. The salon is beautiful and I felt totally at ease the whole time. I’m definitely coming back. Highly recommend!

Have you ever been to a hair stylist or barber and had your styling expectations exceeded? Look no further. I’ve been a customer of Yuni for 6+ years before she opened her own place last year because she does just that. I sit down and tell her my desire and she shows me a photo of a style she humbly thinks will work and adds a touch that will compliment my head shape and face. She knows I have a big face so she shrinks it down with the look with the hair cut, color, and size. She can make me look like a k-pop idol, a businessperson, or summer Cabo vacation look. In other words, she can do it all. My wife and kids all use her as a one-stop shop for all of our hair needs and refuse to go anywhere else.
