I took several days before writing this review trying to avoid this but I feel I need to share my experience after several people saw my results and my overall unhappiness. I have visited this salon twice now and seen two different stylists. The first time was not great but I could live with it and I have no issues with the salon itself so decided to try someone new this time. I went in with a long grown out balayage from the last time I came to this salon and showed the stylist the picture circled in red for length/style inspo as I wanted some more color near my face and the pictures in blue as color inspo. I was here for four hours for a full balayage with gloss (added on, said this was to tone?) and cut/style. I paid over $300. These are my results: -harsh lines, not well blended -C

Cat does it again! I absolutely love coming to salon deZEN, I book my appointments 6 months out so that I know I have it all in place and literally makes my whole month! Everyone is so kind and helpful, I ask a lot of questions to make sure I understand everything and they’re always so patient. I see cat and have for about a year and never come out dissatisfied, I get so many complements and my hair feels and looks healthy and gorgeous! 1000% recommend!

I loved this salon - I worked with Violet and she was so sweet and listened to exactly what I wanted, was honest about how she could make it work for my hair (which I’m so grateful for since it needs to be realistic and sustainable for my lifestyle), and overall did such an amazing job. I asked for a lot and she delivered, and even taught me how to style and care for my new bangs. I also got an amazing scalp massage from Solzhe during my shampoo. Loved this salon and I only wish I lived in the area so I could keep coming back. The icing on the cake was that the service was so reasonably priced, which is not usually the case; I’ve paid much more in the past at other places and not nearly as satisfied. 5/5 thank you I feel amazing!
