Salon B

I have been going to B-salon to get my hair cut and styled for close to 10 years now. I first started going there with shoulder length black hair in my 40s. Bishlam would build in perfect layers and beautiful highlights into it. He was amazing at colouring and highlighting my hair but also a great stylist. But then my grey started kicking in and I wanted to figure out how to transition into full grey in my 50s. Bishlam helped me with this process beautifully, cutting and styling my hair so that the coloured hair kind of blended as well as it could with my emerging grey hairs. I’m now back to shoulder length, fully natural salt and peppery hair, with no colour left. My hair is naturally wavy but Bishlam always makes my layers look sleek and curly at the ends each time I leave - see photo. T

I wasn't quite sure what I was going to do about my hair! But when I walked into Studio B, Bishlam, Amy & Paola made me feel very welcome! Bishlam did a great job on my hair and a couple of days Paola did a treatment for me, which I love. Amy was just so nice and informative. I am so glad I came to them and I will continue to go back!

I have been getting my hair done with Bishlam at Salon B since I moved to California almost 2 years ago and let me tell you, I HAVE HAD THE BEST EXPERIENCE AT THIS SALON!!! it is family owned, him and his wife own the salon and they are BEYOND professional, friendly, and absolutely amazing at what they do. They offer a lot of hair care here. I have went from blonde extensions, to dark hair, back to long dark extensions! All done by Bishlam! From the moment I stepped in to the salon to when I left it, was a terrific experience. Bishlam, Amy & Paola were so welcoming and the keratin treatment and cut were magic. It was my first time visiting the salon and Bishlam just instinctively new what my hair needed and the cut I was looking for. A gem of a salon in San Rafael owned by people with big hearts.
