I cannot say enough amazing things about this salon! From the moment you walk in, the team makes you feel so welcome and comfortable. The atmosphere is warm, friendly, and professional — you truly feel cared for. As someone with curly hair, finding a stylist who really understands curls can be challenging, but Desiree is absolutely incredible. She knows exactly how to color, treat, and cut my curls so they look healthy, defined, and effortless. She has also cut and styled my teen daughter’s hair, and every time she leaves the salon she is glowing with confidence. That alone is everything!! If you’re looking for a salon that combines talent, warmth, and personalized care, this is it! 💛

Coming back to my hometown and visiting this salon felt so special. The space is absolutely beautiful—so thoughtfully done and stunning inside. The atmosphere is cozy, welcoming, and instantly makes you feel at home. Stacey is amazing—so kind, funny, and genuinely easy to be around. All of the ladies there make it feel less like an appointment and more like you’re just hanging out with friends. Honestly, I’d go just to hang out! Stacey did an incredible job on my hair. She completely refreshed and vamped up my color and made me feel pretty again. I left feeling confident and so happy with the results. I can’t wait for my next appointment!

For a while, I wanted to try a new salon and I happen to see Salon Aurea while I was out running errands. I read reviews and booked an appointment. Everybody is very friendly and the salon is very stylish and clean. Desiree listens to my hair concerns and makes recommendations. I always like my cut and color and have no plans of going anywhere else.

I have been using Stacey for a few years and it has been fabulous to watch her grow this business in her home town! She’s great at hair from cuts to color from her extensive experience but where she really shines is her celebration of community. A woman-owned small business that truly gives you welcoming feel where you are more than just a hair appointment. Her other stylists are super friendly and it is great to see how they all work as a team. This is a great place with a welcoming vibe run by an awesome person! 10/10!
