Salon at Vaught House

I came to this salon because of its 5-star reputation and was excited for a comfortable, professional experience. While the stylist did a good job on my hair, the rest of the appointment left me feeling cold, uncomfortable, and out of place. My sweater, top, and leggings were soaked due to a lack of proper protection during the wash. It was 55 degrees and raining, and I had just gotten a perm—being that wet in those conditions was not only unpleasant, it felt careless. Although the stylist attempted to dry my clothes, they were still damp when I chose to leave early. What surprised me most is that this wasn’t a new stylist—she’s been in the industry for nearly 20 years. Julie has done my hair since I was 10 and has never failed me! I’ve recommended many of my friends to her and they always love it! She is amazing at her job and so friendly and loving. I always love how my hair turns out! So thankful for Julie!

I'm not sure why so many people had a hard time contacting the salon. I called Debbie, the owner, and she answered the phone and explained that she was on vacation, however, as soon as she got back to town she would call me back...and she did! I wasn't able to book with Debbie because I need Saturday appointments so she referred me to Julie Hartnett! OMG..best highlight, cut and style I have ever had. My hair was absolutely perfect! Julie is friendly, outgoing and very talented! This was my 1st time going to her and you can bet I will be back! ☺

I have been going to Julie for cut, color, and eyebrow wax since early 2002! She is an amazing stylist! It’s easy to schedule with her too! Julie cuts my 9 year old daughter’s hair also, and has since she was 3 years old! She is so sweet and fun to talk to which is an added bonus!!
