I visited the salon on 1/30/26 to start the process of stripping my black hair to blonde. My goal was to strip the black dye to reach a honey blonde, but I feel the technical approach used by my stylist was ineffective. I specifically requested a color remover, but bleach was used instead, resulting in my hair looking rather incomplete. I was also concerned by the lack of professional courtesy. After the appointment, I consulted with lead stylist Tiffany Snow. Rather than offering a professional assessment or a path toward my goal, she suggested I use 'Color Oops' at home. The owner, Amy, is never at the salon. Instead, it is ran by stylists that just graduated that STILL need hands on help from lead stylists around them. When we moved to Jasper 22 years ago, friends recommended Amy Fountain Leake as a hairdresser. My appointments with Amy have always been wonderful - just chatting and laughing - while she worked her beautician magic. We have shared so many life stories. My stylist's name is Sydney and she did an outstanding job on my haircut! I absolutely love it, she listened to exactly what I wanted and it turned out beautifully! So thankful for her, and am very happy with my results!
