Salon 804

I was in town on vacation and my hair was in need of some color and a cut. I was able to schedule an appointment with Martha. The salon is open and bright even though it is housed in what seemed like an older small warehouse. It was very welcoming and Martha greeted me almost immediately. I was nervous because I blindly booked this appointment. However, I was anything but disappointed. Martha, who was not only very likable, did a fabulous job covering my roots and giving me a fresh, clean looking cut. If I did not live 3 1/2 hours away, I would come back every month to get my hair done.

Devon worked her magic and "fixed" my hair after a stylist at a different salon over-processed my hair, resulting in Platinum blonde. It was my first visit to Salon 804, and I had read all of the wonderful reviews on Devon so I knew I was in good hands. I told her what I didn't want, showed her numerous pictures of what I liked and she did the rest! She did NOT disappoint! Devon is extremely talented and personable! Highly recommend!

I’m writing this from a fake account because I feel bad about leaving a negative review, but I want to keep others informed. ☹️ Unfortunately, I’m not a very confrontational person, so I didn’t say anything in the moment, but my experience with Angie was disappointing. I have no doubt that she’s a talented hairstylist, but she did not do anything close to what I had asked for. I showed her photos of the hairstyle I wanted, photos of my own hair, simply asking for it to be recreated. I also made it very clear that I have naturally wavy hair and asked her to keep that in mind while cutting. i requested a length slightly above my shoulders with long layers, just like in the photos. However, my hair was cut much shorter than I had asked, and the layers were extremely short. She even told me h

First time client and I was so impressed with everyone & my experience. Samantha Brown is a must see for haircolor and/or cut! - so sweet, communicated well, and the result was exactly what I pictured. Even helped me put my coat on the way out. This salon is also a bit more affordable than some others I’ve been to in TC! My only note is it looks like their website is down… but 5 stars regardless 😊

I would normally never no call/no show to an appointment, but I got in a horrible car accident that was not my fault on the way. I texted the hairstylist an apology from the ER as soon as I was coherent and had my pain somewhat under control. No response. I sent a second one a couple days later, still no response. I’m sad because I liked the stylist, she was fun to talk to and did a great job with my hair at past appointments, but now I have been made to feel like I did something wrong when I almost lost my life on the way there one day. I hate leaving negative reviews but the whole situation was just disappointing. They didn’t charge me a no show fee and I’m grateful for that, but I felt like they could have responded to my apology.
