Salon 5844

Beth Ann understands my crazy hair and understands that i am lazy about doing anything too complicated with it. She’s good at giving me a great cut that grows in well, and doesn't need too much fussing.

I’ve been going to Salon 5844 for over 10 years and it’s always a warm, friendly, & fun experience. The atmosphere is wonderful and cozy—I’d much rather a cozy salon than a big, overcrowded salon. Beth Ann does amazing color!! Larry always makes it a first class experience!

I am in Pittsburgh from out of state for an extended time and was looking for a salon for a good color and cut. After two failures, I hit the jackpot with Salon 5844. All the staff is friendly and accommodating and Beth Ann did an absolutely amazing job. My hair is difficult for me to manage and it is very hard for me to find stylists who get it right the first time. She couldn’t have done a better job. And the color is perfect as well. Top it off with quality products and a lovely handbag I picked up on the way out. If I could give this place 10 stars I would.

Forget good manners once you walk into this place! The owner/stylist is a lunatic and will not make an effort to hide it in how she speaks to her customers and treats their heads! I am not satisfied with my haircut, I asked for a short haircut but she gave me a sort of long mullet !! She will charge you $62 plus tip -to cut your hair and yell at you!
