Salon 1800

Absolutely loved my experience at Salon 1800! I recently moved from London and was nervous to find a new salon, but Caitlin and the team made me feel right at home. Caitlin worked magic on my hair, and everyone was so warm and professional. The space is beautiful, the shampoo basins are actually comfortable (no neck pain!), and they even make a proper cup of tea. Highly recommend this Lincoln Park salon!

I’ve been here twice and was recommended by a friend of mine. Everyone here is always so nice and professional. They always did a fantastic job on my hair and they even have different stylists to accommodate your price range needs. The first time I came I got my hair done by Valerie. She did a balayage. And it came out great! Second time my hair was done by Alexis and I just wanted something for fall and a little darker brunette! They both were amazing and very friendly!

Salon 1800 is the best salon in Chicago. I have been a long time client and every time, I leave there looking and feeling fabulous! Lisa is the best colorist in the city and she always knows the best style that would work for me. Inna does my brows and her work is spot on. The whole staff is warm and accomodating and their new location is gorgeous.

I had a terrible experience getting my eyebrows laminated here. I have long brow hairs, and instead of shaping them to fit my face, the aesthetician brushed them straight up at a 90-degree angle, they were literally 1–2 inches tall on my forehead. It looked ridiculous. When I asked her to trim them and brush them to the side, she gave me attitude and kept saying “this is lamination,” like I didn’t know anything. Lamination doesn’t mean you can’t have shape or style?! It’s supposed to enhance your brows, not make you look crazy. She really thought it was okay for me to leave the salon looking like that. I felt super uncomfortable the whole time, was fighting back tears, and definitely won’t be going back. Do not get your brows done here. Honestly would be scared to get anything done to m

Jules at Salon 1800 💈did an amazing job on my hair. She’s a true talent and an awesome person to talk to. The time flew by ⌚️ First, I went to her for a cute cut 💇🏻‍♀️ . She executed the shape and layer perfectly. Next, I went to her for a balayage. Again, flawless execution 🙏🏽
