Wow! Sam is actually the best! My friend recommended the salon a while back to me and I scheduled an appointment for an updo for a wedding I was going to. I requested a fun updo and Sam delivered!!! He did such a great job with the look and it stayed secure all night as I danced away. I showed him inspo pics and he absolutely nailed it!! My natural hair is really curly and frizzy & I was so happy to feel and see my hair stay looking nice and sleek throughout the night. I felt beautiful & got so many compliments. Def recommend!

I recently went to Salon 1419 for an urgent color correction after a disastrous experience at another salon and I cannot express how grateful I am for Sameh, the owner. He did an amazing job turning a bad situation into hair I could feel confident with. As background, I've had a balayage done before two years ago at a mid-tier salon in Virginia. Since then, I've had focused babylights done at a more convenient local salon in Virginia, where I've never had any issues with this approach to updating my balayage. This was my first time at Salon 1419, and I will definitely come back!! Owner-stylist Sam did a fantastic job of rescuing my hair from a terrible/uneven previous cut, taking off just the amount of length I wanted, and creating lovely soft layers that really bring out my curls. He is super friendly and very meticulous. The shampoo was really thorough and relaxing, too -- I love a good, gentle scalp massage!
