Salon 10

I went into Salon 10 for the first time today, and the last. The barber continuously stopped cutting my hair to play on his phone, racked my eyes several times hard w a comb, pushed my hairline back for no reason, cut a side part in my hair(3 inches long), the hair on top of my head was about 20 different lengths a good portion was never cut at all, chunks of hair lengths ranged from less then an inch long to about 5 inches long, Cut a good portion of my goatee off and left it like that. charged over the amount listed for haircuts. I ended up coming home shaving my face completely and buzzing my head. I would have had a better time lighting that money on fire.

As noted in other reviews, this salon “nickel and dimes” you for every service—understanding that was their original model of $10 for each service, however, I’ve never come out of there spending less than $90 in the last year plus, I guess that’s the naturalista tax—cause that’s just for wash, blowout and trim, so clearly that model is long since expired. I have to pay additional for flat iron to even approach looking like I went to the salon—now we’re at over $100 dollars, and my natural hair has no desire to be straight in the humidity of VA. Catalyst for this particular review…I came primarily for professional service of detangling my hair. Today started off hectic because I’d booked an appointment on Booksy for my daughter and the stylist was 45 minutes late. I decided to cancel my appointment and walked into Salon 10. I must say I am super impressed with the service I received here! I was immediately warmly greeted by Santa , she made my daughter super comfortable and quickly washed blow dried and deep conditioned her hair. She even taught my daughter a little Spanish! Natasha finished up the style with a professional trim and braided bun style. My daughter was soooo happy ! It’s nothing like being serviced in a Salon with a professional atmosphere with gorgeous women on the inside and out. Salon 10 you saved the day! Thank you

Amazing Silk Press by Jasmine at Salon 10. She was thorough, timely, and did an amazing job! Despite having another customer come in while I was there, she handled us both efficiently. Jasmine also gave me a trim and bumped the ends perfectly. The overall experience was very satisfactory. The price was $95, which I felt was very reasonable for the quality I received. Highly recommend Jasmine!

With being natural it's hard to find a place that specialize in natural hair in Hampton Roads. Let's just say I found a winner! Ebony was my stylist and she did a phenomenal job. I was in and out in less than an hour. My service was a deep treatment wash and flat iron all for a low of $65 which is awesome for the length of my hair. Let's just say I am well pleased with my service. The staff here were friendly and inviting I felt right at home and the place was very clean. I will be returning.
