I really enjoyed my experience at this salon. I got medium boho knotless braids and I brought my own Boho hair. The braiders are nice and quite talented! They take Zelle or cash. To remember my hair so I was done in about 4.5/five hours. I paid $200 and tipped both braiders.

Salma African Hair Braiding is absolutely amazing! The stylists are professional, fast, and extremely talented. They take the time to make sure your style looks perfect and that you’re comfortable throughout the process. The salon is clean, welcoming, and has a friendly atmosphere. My braids came out neat, even, and exactly how I wanted them. I’ve received so many compliments since my appointment! Highly recommend Salma and her team for anyone looking for quality braids that last.

I got there around 8:30. I didn’t get my hair started until 9:30 and I was out by 1:30.I got medium box braids with curls at the end it was definitely worth it.I would recommend this salon. They took their time. They’re very neat.They were nice and the price is reasonable.Also they open 24/7.

I had a really great experience here. Maryam did my hair, her hand was great on my tender scalp. Salma was really really kind. The service was fast and it was super clean there, . I WILL be going back.

Don’t go here! They did my daughter’s hair so horribly. The braids looked like they were weeks old, and they were falling off within the same day. They don’t even add hot water to the braids, which is a waste of money. They charged me $150 for this terrible service. Don’t go here at all! Run from this place! Instead, go to Harlem on 125th street.
