‼️I would NOT recommend POC shop here‼️ It’s 2025, and I can’t believe this is still happening. Yesterday, my sister and I went to the Sally Beauty in Westland. This was supposed to be a fun experience, I’m dying my hair for the first time and was really excited. From the moment we walked in, the energy felt off. A male employee didn’t greet us, but we brushed it off and started browsing. Most of the hair dye is located right at the front of the store. As soon as he finished helping another customer, he came over and started scanning items right next to us. At first, I thought nothing of it, I’ve worked retail before and know employees sometimes need to scan or restock. But he never once asked if we needed help. Decided to take on bleaching out my black hair to blonde without any prior experience. All the ladies in the store are super knowledgeable about products and how they work and also super friendly. Kristy ,Stephanie , and the store manager Mandy are all fantastic ladies. Super grateful to have their assistance in helping me to choose the products I needed . They all went above and beyond. Stephanie (I’m terrible at names and should have wrote it down, I hope that’s correct ) even guided me to the QR code to video chat with a licensed Sally’s consultant and stood my during the call to help me choose the recommended items off the shelf . Great in store experience and will return for any needed products. Thank you ladies.

Big thank you to the girlie that helped me both times I stopped in! I used a hair gloss that was mistakenly way too dark for me. It turned my hair black and I desperately wanted to lighten it up without any intense damage. The sally worker was so helpful and sweet - picked me out some clarifying items, and a new dye. I came back in a week later (after using the clarifying items) and the same employee helped me pick out a lighter color (as the clarifying shampoo and treatments worked like a dream, and made it significantly lighter!) and hooked me up with some additional products to make sure the color holds. I’m in LOVE with my new color (used the darker dye on the roots, and the lighter throughout). It turned out absolutely stunning, and I’m so grateful for Sally’s for helping me reverse m

Says they're open to 8:00 and you come up here at 7:00 and it's closed. I don't really understand what that's all about.....

Came in late last night before they closed to grab some products. Sammy was the only one there and she seemed irritated, like everything was an inconvenience to her. But today I went back to return the extra products I didn’t use and someone else was there helping me with my return and needed further assistance. So Sammy came over and didn’t communicate just started touching the screen and telling the girl she was doing it wrong saying “ you can’t click the first thing you see and I hate when you guys do this” the girl was simply asking for help. She then walked away and said whatever but the girl actually did the correct thing and didn’t do it wrong. Some advice to you Sammy, maybe be less rude to your co workers and find a different job if you don’t have customer service or patience to
