I've been going to Sally's for years. Never had an issue. In the last year, the experience leaves a lot to be desired. A certain employee in the Torrington location always feels the need to stand and watch your every move. Super uncomfortable. I will spread the word to my friends, coworker and family, and find somewhere to spend my money.

Went in today with my partner & couldn't even look around. I dont understand if they thought we were trying to steal but it was ridiculous. Youre supposed to be able to look around & shop. Not be dealing with someone on your back asking you what are you looking for when you said you already know what you want multiple times. And then said "oh they're going right here. I'll be right back.

I love the employees, I have nothing but really nice things to say about them and how helpful they are. I do however have had really awful experiences with the store manager several times along with my partner. I’ve read the other reviews specifically about this one lady. I’ve gone in with my cousin one time to bleach her hair for the first time and she was trying so hard to over sell and making us buy things even though we were really tight on money. She basically took items she recommended and PLACED them on the counter without consent that we wanted to buy them. She made us get more than what we needed in terms of bleach hair dye etc. you can tell she’s only there to try to make a buck out of you instead of actually supporting and helping the customers needs. Absolutely hated my end result for my hair. The manager was nothing but pushy, judgmental and very sales like. When I went there with my sister to buy bleach, dye and toner I was greeted with a kind employee who walked me through the process and which products I needed in order to get my end result taking into consideration that I didn’t wanna spend alot. Not too long after the manager interjected herself into our conversation questioning me about everything and what I needed and even told me to buy more product that I ended up returning because we didn’t end up needing it. While accepting the fact she was trying to “help” I was then shocked to find out she was throwing everything in my cart and in the register. I have nothing but good things to say, every person that I've met working there has been so kind and helpful!! All these ladies know their stuff to, if you need some good advise and good products I'd come here I know I sound like I'm getting paid to say this but I'm just so grateful for the service I got 😂😊
