you’d think after all these years they’d improve their staffing, but this location is still one of the worst sally beauty stores i’ve ever been to. the store itself is nice and usually well stocked, but the staff can be rude to customers, and i’ve seen management treat their employees terribly. how do you expect to run a decent business when your management acts so unprofessionally? on top of that, this place doesn’t seem very poc friendly. it’s a shame, because a few employees (i believe their names are emma, taylor, and devin) are always kind and helpful — which just makes the poor management stand out even more.

I struggle with this location and the Nashua one. Between the 2, I can never find the 3 jars of xmondo color I have religiously bought every other month since February.

They don't understand interracial hair at this store. My hair is not dry! However, it's very fine and very thin and often appears frizzy. Similar to what white people refer to as "flyaway". I have used lots of moisture products but most weigh my hair down. The products they suggested aren't working that well for my hair. Luckily, I can return them.

I have been shopping at the Salem New Hampshire Sally's since 1999. I love the products they sell but I'm always dreading to go due to the bad attitudes of the employees that usually work there. Its like they only higher snobs.I have not had any good experiences with the associates. With that said, I went in to Sally's on friday August 31st at around 5:00 p.m. I was immediately greeted at the door by an employee with smiles and made me feel like I was being greeted by an old friend. She complimented my cute outfit and made me feel welcomed. Then while I was in the aisle trying to figure out what color products I was going to get, I was greeted by another employee who asked if I needed help. At first I said no. Today I came in to buy some hair dye. I noticed the staff was incredibly rude, specifically the girl with the blue hair, to a customer who had trouble asking for help to find a product because the customer only spoke Spanish. The customer came up to me to ask me for help. My Spanish isn’t great but I still went out of my way to help her by calling a friend who is fluent in Spanish, and she was able to find what she was looking for. This location is known to give the cold shoulder to people who aren’t white or who can’t speak proper English. Please do better. I would suggest everyone to go to the Lowell location they are much more helpful and welcoming.
