Finally found Sallie Beauty Supply in Pleasanton. Its across from Kohls in Walmart shopping center. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Glad its close to home and allows me to shop in person cuz sometimes online just isnt doing it for me anymore!

A couple of days ago, I went to Sally’s in Pleasanton. A young associate helped me pick out the products I needed for highlights. She gave me excellent advice, pointed me in the right direction, and even went above and beyond by suggesting extra items to help protect my hair from bleach damage. Thanks to her guidance, my highlights came out amazing! She had green and purple dye in her own hair, and they looked fantastic on her too. I’ve been reluctantly shopping at Sally’s for years, and honestly, I’ve often experienced poor customer service. But this young lady really impressed me. Her great customer service and disposition went long way—it makes you want to come back.

Went in with my mother and we weren’t welcomed in at all. Can’t help but notice we were the only black customers in the store at the time. Both of the ladies working at the time completely ignored our existence and didn’t ask once if we needed any assistance finding anything despite the face that my mother and I were very obviously struggling to find what we were looking for. We were blatantly ignored while the other customers (whom were also white) had their full attention. My mother wasn’t even offered a bag to carry her items. Overall bad experience worse customer service that i can’t help but feel was racially motivated.

Very disappointed with my experience at Sally’s today. One of the store associates, April was highly disrespectful. Not only was she unhelpful in helping to find a solution in finding my account she was very aggressive and disrespectful in her response to me as well. I was speaking with another sales associate who was attempting to help me locate my account and April interjected herself into the conversation with food in her hand whilst offering no solutions and trying to shut down the conversation I was having with the other associate. After I asked if I could continue the conversation with the other sales associate who was actually trying to assist me she flicked her hand at me grunted a disrespectful and aggressive “whatever” and stormed off.
