This happened last year but my fiancé and I were doing a DoorDash order and when we walked in, we did not get any greeting or received any help. The only time we received any help is when we actively sought them out and they didn’t really provide much help. While we were waiting for the customer on DoorDash to give us a substitute because they didn’t have the original, the cashier was monitoring us. As if she’s thinking we’re gonna steal. ( We are African-American by the way). They only greeted and helped everybody who was white.

I always go to Sallys for my hair coloring products and supplies. The staff is always helpful and willing to assist if you have questions. I like their Rewards program where you earn points with your purchases, resulting in $$ off for future buys. Also, if associate on duty is learning and can't answer your questions, you can chat online for free with licensed colorists😊

Kristina was so helpful. I was frustrated and having problems with my rewards account and she when above and beyond to make sure everything got resolved. She was so generous with her time and so understanding. This is definitely my preferred store! Thanks Kristina!

To the ladies with burgundy and bluegreen hair around December 2020, I'd just like to say thank you. I honestly don't like going to Sally's because all I ever experienced is rudeness and ignorance, but you ladies took the time to talk, listen and recommended me products for crazy curly hair. You girls were so sweet and welcoming, that was the first time i experience great costumer service this year. I appreciate y'all with such enlightened and beautiful attitudes.

Went into the L street location wanting to lighten my hair after growing out it so long to do so. I know now that you do not have to know ANYTHING about hair products to work here , but that was AFTER an employee gave me a confident suggestion in lightening my hair . she gave me TWO different blondes to mix with a 30 developer . Once again, she was SO confident in her suggestion like she knew exactly what she was talking about, instantly grabbed it off the shelf and all. Did it the next day ORANGE HAIR , even with purple shampoo! A very nice young woman helped me when I called instantly after doing this, I went in and she refunded me and got me a blue shampoo and conditioner .
