Last night (12/29/2025), I was there right before closing around 7:40pm. Katie was absolutely brilliant and helpful!! I asked for her opinion on some color correcting/lightening my already pretty light hair that needed stained purple dye out so the process could be redone. I’ve done it a few times before over time, but never tried to streamline the process at home. I made a mistake last time I dyed my hair and thought I could wait for it to be faded, but my impatience got the best of me. I was about to make another series of mistakes and spend too much money. Despite about to close, Katie helped me decide on some products, explained how to use them and my hair is PERFECT now. She never once rushed me, and seemed to genuinely love what she does. Today I had many doubts about what I wanted to do with my hair or how to do it, but I received the right help. Unfortunately, I didn't ask for the names of the people who helped me. The service was excellent; they were very kind and knowledgeable.

I've been coming into this Sally's and it's been a huge change from before. The manager and employees working now are amazing, they engage with you, they learn everything you need for whatever hair procedure you're doing and they help you find the best supplies to get it done. They are so friendly and made such an impact on me the first time i met these employees who are fighting to change this location for the better and the experiences for all of us.

Went in to buy a flat iron and they had a clearance section on a table as well as items marked in the aisle. After asking the manager for advice on which product is a better item her response was “you’re just paying for the name” not much help. I then chose the item I wanted to buy and apparently they put an item on the clearance table and marked the home location with the same sale signs. She then tells me I can’t buy the item because someone put the signs up by mistake. She stated it’s not a clearance item and refused to honor the item even though it was their mistake. Poor customer service.

I went to store #3321 in Newburgh, NY on 10/25/23 between 2-2:30 p.m. and I was the only customer. There was one male and one female working there at the time. I went to checkout and the male employee between 25-35 years old told me I cannot check out without giving him my phone number. He stated the register will not open unless he enters a telephone number. I refused, I was paying cash and I am not a Sally member and I do not want to become a member. He did not ask if I was a member he just wanted a phone number, I guess for marketing purposes. I refused again, we stood there for several minutes and then he finally opened the register without any problem. I gave him the money I received my change and receipt and I left the store.
