Gonna call tomorrow when they open to take to someone because im pretty upset. Lovely ladies were helping me today in the store with my mother. They recommended this specific color for my hair, which was in the shade of rose gold. As she was telling us we need developer, my mother and I getting the same brand of dye, she handed us 20vol. and we assumed they knew what they were talking about so we bought it, along with a bleach kit. Finished bleaching, go to mix the dye and developer, and I notice that the box says you need 10 vol, on the instructions on the inside of the box. I was like whatever and still continued to mix the portions ( a 1:1 ratio) and put it in my hair. 40 mins goes by, and absolutely nothing happened to my lightened hair. I have always loved Sally’s I have been going there for years and years. However yesterday will be my last time going. The employee was annoyed for the 1st time not knowledgeable on color. I was very uncomfortable and even apologized if she felt like there is some kind of misunderstanding with the way she was didn’t want to handle the exchange. I told her I can mix my own color combinations if they didn’t have the color I was looking for since she seemed confused by me asking for a recommendation on different brands saying that all of them were the same as the one I was returning and directly told me to use splat. Which was fine because I went to cos pro for my color. I do hair and sent my son to Sally’s because he can’t go to cos pro. She even told me to use splat after I got the box of

I didn't catch her name, but the employee in the store was friendly and professional. She greeted us right away and showed us to the items we came in for. She was knowledgeable and gave us tips and product recommendations. I'm impressed, keep up the great work!

I had a great experience with the color expert, Madison. She took her time and explain everything thoroughly, and answered all my dumb questions without any issues. I’m not sure how much they pay this young lady, but there better be a little something extra in her stocking at Christmas.

Customer service is 50/50. Some are rude some are nice. You now have to pay for bags now, but I could have delt with that. What is a deal breaker for me, however, is their stocking issues. They stocked the hair products just fine, but my Bitzy makeup was so hard to find I had to go to other cities. Now I find out they aren't going to restock them at all. Now I have to pay 3x the price at a different store for what I needed, and it's going to be even more difficult to find a replacement for their amazing glitter adhesive. I know it's not technically the stores fault, I'm upset at all the Sally's in the area. I don't know if it's a state thing or corporation thing, but I won't be buying from Sally's anymore, not even for my hair color products.
