Sally Beauty

Today was my first time in Sally Beauty. As soon as I walked in I was surprised I didn't get her name but she was a tall young woman who greeted me nicely and immediately offered me help. She told me about the sales going on. She was knowledgeable about product and I walked out with everything I needed! I will be back!

The manager, Dwight, was not welcoming or nice, and claimed he "knew more than [I] would" which is an odd and rude thing to say to a customer that he doesn't know anything about. I've been working on hair for about three years now, and he was recommending expensive, unnecessary products. Aside from that, the store has a good selection of products and it's always stocked well.

The manager Dwight was extremely rude and disrespectful. When my friend and I were shopping he was on the phone with a customer service agent and was talking about he thought it was unacceptable that he couldn't understand the agent on the phone because of their language barrier. Dwight then went on to yell into the phone that "obviously I am not racist." Dwight then went on to criticize my friend for her choice in hair care product. Telling her she didn't know how to read the bottle and didn't know what color she was getting. (My friend has used this product in the past and her hair stylist recommended it for her). Dwight then took the product out of her hand and put it back on the shelf. Dwight is very unprofessional and he uses his "manager authority" to belittle people in this store.

Dwight was very rude to me for very little reason. How he is still a manager I will never know. I've heard from several people he's been rude and condescending. The fact he still has a job despite many many negative reviews about him specifically baffles me.

Dwight was very rude during my visit. He insulted the products I was looking at and insulted my hair, seemingly trying to upsell me.
