Last week I was touching up my hair with some dye I had left over. I ended up using too much on one side with not enough to do the other side. I ask my boyfriend if we could please run up to Sally’s before they close to get some more. With a little under 30 minutes left, we made it. I came in looking a mess with a hair cap on kinda frantic. Selena was the associate on duty and she was more than helpful! She informed me on so many things I hadn’t know. I just started dying my hair myself, my friend usually does it so I only had known the basics. I grabbed a few extra things while I was there and decided to do something different with my hair. If I could leave 0 stars I would. I was racially profiled in this store by SELENA wearing a pink jacket. I was looking to purchase a stylist combo andis clipper & trimmer set. I was told that I couldn’t hold the box at all throughout the store. She then proceeded to walk me up to the register with the items and I requested to hold the items while at the register and was told that even though I was standing at the register I couldn’t look at the box or hold the items because her words “people have been known to run out of the store with the products”. This is UNPROVOKED racial profiling at its finest. I AM A LONG TIME CUSTOMER OF SALLYS AND COSMOPROF AND VERY DISAPPOINTED AT HOW I WAS TREATED!! THIS IS VERY UNACCEPTABLE !!!!!

I would like to highlight the awesome professionalism and patience of Tynesha and Brittany, the ladies who helped me. I visited the Greenbrier location in Chesapeake, Virginia to purchase some items with gift cards I received for Christmas. I had questions about various items. They took the time answered them all. When I went to check out, there was a technical problem on Sally's website. (There was still a technical problem today on that website when I tried to complete a review/feedback). I was in the store for quite some time trying several times to check out on the website using a coupon. They remained patient. Then they realized a solution to the problem and got me on my way! It could have been a more frustrating experience if not for these ladies.

So I recently had colored my hair and it ended up pulling a lot of red and that is not what I wanted. So I went back in and I got to work with Selina. She was amazing, she was patient and kind and listened to what I needed. She sent me up with the colors that would work best and I went home and I did everything that she told me by the book, and voila, my hair is no longer red. It is a mushroom blonde which is what I was going for. I would recommend this store this sales associate. She is amazing, because of her I love my hair. I have never received this amount of customer service from one of your stores and I have been from the west coast to the east coast and she is the best. Thank you so much!!! You will have a customer for life because of her!!!

Went to get some hair dye and the sign and website says the store closed at 6pm, I get there at 530pm and the door is locked and the worker is counting money. I ask her if they are closed and show her the time and she just looks at me. The holiday hours are on a paper in the front that also states store closes at 6pm. Since when do store close 30 minutes early to count money ? If that’s the case then the sign needs to say you close at 530 not 6.
