Ordered online and received a notification saying it was my last day to pick up my order before it would be returned to the shelves. Because I was running close to the cutoff, I called the store to ask if I could pick it up tomorrow. No one answered the phone. I decided to go in anyway and arrived at 5:50 PM. The door clearly states the store closes at 6 PM, yet the door was already locked. The lights were on, but there were no employees visible, no sign explaining an early closure, and no attempt to answer the phone or the door. If you’re going to lock your doors early, then change your posted hours to reflect that. I came into the Albany Sally Beauty today Sunday 12/7 at 1:56pm as an Instacart shopper and had a very disappointing experience with two associates, Maddie and (name spelled approximately) Vanquesha. I asked for help finding a few items for a paying customer, and instead of assisting me on the floor, Maddie shouted directions from behind the register. When I couldn’t locate the item and asked if she could help me directly, she refused. I ended up finding it on my own. When I returned to the counter, the other associate was on her phone texting, and when I politely asked why they couldn’t assist, Maddie told me that “store policy” says they don’t have to help Instacart shoppers because we are “not paying customers” and we “get paid to shop.” The attitude that followed was unnecessary and

i called the store on central to get advice about taking some color out of my hair, and had the most amazing experience ever! the woman who helped me was named Sarah, and she told me she is usually at the hudson store but at this location today. She was so kind and so helpful. Honestly one of the BEST experiences i’ve ever had talking with someone over the phone. so thank you so so so so much Sarah you are so incredibly sweet and i am so thankful for your help!!!

This location will cancel your online in store pick up because they don't want to actually work. I go in the store after cancellation to find the very item they refused to pick. This is absolutely ridiculous.
