Salima African Hair Braiding

Overall my experience was okay however it was not the exact hairstyle I requested. I would rather someone say they cannot do the style than just freestyle on it. I called, sent the pic, and showed the stylist how I wanted my daughter hair about 3x times. Everyone confirmed they could do it and I stated I wanted it as close as possible to the picture. My daughter’s hair was bulkier and not the style I wanted. Also they charge a $5 Upcharge for sending to Zelle which is illegal

It smelled like weed, babies everywhere, they talk behind your back if your not spending over $100. I will never go to another African Braiding Shop ever again. These two braids look terrible, for $40.

Honestly were to start?? Only one stars because of the discount i got from her oversleeping and causing me to wait to wait 3 hours before i decided to go with someoneself, anywho... FRFR i wont be back. 1st: Its unprofessional. I was there a little over 5 hours for boho box braids and the lady stopped half way doing my hair and started someone else hair when that lady already had a braider. I had to sit and wait 30min for someelse to finish me. Then that lady asked me could she take my time away to do her son hair. I mean ik that are kids come first and she did ask me first but come on. All are literly finishing people that came hours after me; before me :/. 2nd: It could be way cleaner there! Bathroom had roaches and dishes everywhere. 3rd: & MOST IMPORTANT IF YOU HAVE PLANS JUST CANCEL T

I recently visited Salma’s for braids, and let me tell you, they did NOT disappoint! From the moment I walked in, the vibe was warm and welcoming. The stylist was super skilled and really listened to what I wanted, delivering perfect, neat braids that are lasting and gorgeous. The products they used left my hair feeling healthy, and the whole process was quick but thorough. The customer service was top notch, everyone was so friendly and made me feel right at home. not to mention they finished my jojo knotless braids in 4 HOURS! I went back for a root touch up today, & they slayed per usual with no charge ! If you’re looking for flawless braids and a chill, professional environment, this is the spot! I’ll definitely be back.

I’ve been going to them for about 5 months and I’ve recently started bringing my mom and my 7 year old. Best braids ever!! First time my knotless has lasted 2 months and my child’s hair always is fresh and no pain for the kiddos
