Absolutely love my nails! My tech styled them the way that i wanted, helped pick such a fun design, and really took her time making sure it was perfect for me! Especially the day before Christmas eve! She was so sweet also and did such an amazing job, pictures don’t do them justice! I always come back and they’re definitely worth it!

I had the worst experience with Teresa at Salem Nail Bar. She rushed through my gel manicure from start to finish. She dipped my fingers in water, didn’t push back my cuticles, didn’t trim anything, and ignored the shape I asked for. I requested short, square-round nails, and she instead cut off the sides and made them completely round. By the second coat, I realized she wasn’t painting the edges of my nails. I could still see some of my old color around the sides, which is unacceptable for a fresh manicure. I asked her politely to please cover them because I don’t like seeing bare nail. She sighed heavily, acted frustrated, and then started talking about me to the person next to her—who even looked at me with a dirty look. Love this nail salon! I see Ivy every 3 weeks and she is fast but doesn’t rush and is very thorough! My nails after 3 weeks still look perfect and could probably go 4 or longer. Highly recommend!!

I go to this place off/on and have had good experiences in the past. I now am doing a dip manicure and for some reason every nail tech there absolutely hates that and tries to convince me to do Gel X (which is more expensive). I always insist on the manicure that I want. The last time I was there, I had a technician who literally scoffed and laughed at me the entire manicure. I was nearly in tears because I was so confused. She asked if I wanted my nails cut, I told her I'd like them lightly trimmed, as I'm trying to grow them out. She then proceeds to clip them all down to the bed. I explained to her that wasn't what I asked for and she laughed and said "be more clear next time." I had a Gel-X service done here and unfortunately it was a huge letdown. The nails were uneven, bulky, and poorly shaped, with visible flaws that shouldn’t happen with a professional service. The application felt rushed, and within a short time the nails started lifting, which is unacceptable for Gel-X. I paid good money expecting quality work, but instead left unhappy and frustrated. I ended up needing them fixed elsewhere. I wouldn’t recommend this place for Gel-X services and won’t be coming back.
