Horrible place! I went in for a hair cut and right off the bat, I got attitude from my “stylist” never knew her name as she didn’t have a name tag and didn’t introduce herself. The level of unprofessional behavior was astounding! I will NEVER EVER step foot into this establishment and if u CARE ABOUT YOUR HAIR or how u look u shouldn’t either. All they care about is a paycheck. They give no regard to the customer. I have never felt so uncomfortable and unwelcome in an establishment in my life!! If I could rate it less than 1 star I would. The energy didn’t feel right the moment I sat down. Then the body language and attitude, i honestly don’t understand. I went in for hair dye and a trim. I described and showed photos and said I wanted a dark chocolate brown. I ended up walking out with black hair. But that wasn’t even the worst part. I asked for a small trim while maintaining my hair length, just to even out the ends of my hair. The stylist asked me if I wanted to “refresh” my curtain bangs. They were very outgrown so I said sure. What I received was all over uneven, choppy, messy layers throughout my hair. Both sides of my head were cut completely differently , and was something I never asked for. I went home and balled my eyes out because prom was a week away. I was devastated at my ruined hair. Wish I took better pictures of what it looked like.

Joanna has been doing my hair for years! Whether it’s funky vibrant purple, or the blonde in the pic - which is my favorite - she is your girl!! Fun atmosphere, too!

I get my 8-year-old son's hair cut by Tricia at Salem Hair Cutters exclusively & have been for a few years now. He is autistic & can't deal with the buzzer noise or water sprayed on him, so most stylists are a no-go. But Tricia manages to cut his hair nicely without buzzers or spraying water on his head. She explains to him what she's doing when he feels the backside of the scissors touch his neck and reassures him that nothing will hurt him. The last time we went there, my son was not happy about it as he begrudgingly walked in with a grumpy lil attitude but Tricia had him smiling by the time it was over. He said "That wasn't so bad" as we walked out the door. His hair looked great & we could see his beautiful blue eyes again, so I was happy too. Plus, the price was reasonable for a kids

Took my 5 year old for a wash, cut and blow dry as a walk in and I am so happy with the experience . The hairdresser was patient with my daughter’s curly , knotted hair and made the experience very comfortable and fun . We will definitely be back .
