Salam African Hair Braiding

Poor behavior. The first time I got my hair done here I had a decent experience. This last time was something else completely. I wanted small knotless curled ends and color. I was happy until I looked at the back of my head. The front was nice but I had two different braiders in my head. I texted the boss lady the first few pictures just showing the difference from the front and back and she was apologetic and said the braider was new, so she would fix it. When I come back in to get the back fixed, now she doesn’t want to fix it. She said “I don’t see the problem” and kept saying I took the picture too close and the camera is making the parts look bigger. As you can see I took the front and back from the same distance. I felt very invalidated and she wasn’t going to fix my hair until ANOT

The first day I walked into work with my new braids. I could not breathe because of the attention! Everybody loved my hair. My coworkers , the doctors, and my patients kept complimenting me all day. They said it was neat, beautiful and professionally done. People were stopping me to ask who did my hair. I felt so confident and special. The braids was clean perfectly parted, and not too tight, It was definitely worth it, and I will be going back again.

I was seen exactly at my appointment time (no long wait), and the shop is clean and comfortable. My braids are neat, consistent, and not too tight—exactly what I wanted. Highly recommend if you’re looking for quality knotless braids and a professional experience.

This place is worth the wait very clean and nice seating .. expect waiting if your a walk in but nice TV with Reggie type real African music.. I have too tell you I have got a lot of braids but if you want it tight (literally) than go see the lovely girls from Africa 🌍 great experience thank you. I got Fulani braids and asked for beads on the end they were extremely lazy about it so now I’m dipping my own ends and fixing my beads as we speak. On top of me bring my own braid hair price went from $250 to 240 .. the braid hair was $6 a pack. Never again
