Sahan African Braiding

I have been here multiple times, along with my 8 year old daughter. I've never had someone braid my hair faster than Chuma. Neat, nice, edges intact. I have a large head with long, thick hair. No exaggeration, all by herself, she braided me down (waist length medium size goddess knotless) in 3 hours flat.

They are very nice!! I have come here several times, I even brought my Mom and sister. My mother's hair is fine and very soft but they were able catch all of her hair. She was very happy!! I'm actually getting Senegalese twists right now. I did not have to wait. I arrived at 12 noon on a Wed. They have a lot of hair colors to choose from and accept credit cards but charge you $10 for use.

I started going here about 5, maybe 6 years ago. Let me share my experience with you. It was a hot summer day. When I walked into this shop, it was so cool inside I have been to so many hair braiding shops. I had one that I loved, but they closed down. So I was searching for a new hair braiding home but I was not satisfied. I would get my hair braided and never go back. Until I went to Sahan African Braiding. The ladies were so nice. So, I gave another chance. Awa braided my hair. I didn't think I would be able to find another shop that I loved and would be happy. Not only is she so great, but she also pays attention to detail. I've been coming to Sahan for years and she has never disappointed me. I went there a week before my wedding and my hair was still tight and fabulous. I went there today as as usual she did the best job. When I cut my hair off and went to her she has grown it back. I highly recommend this salon. The workers are very respectful and even the old man that opens the gate is respectful.

I'm a guy and just needed some simple cornrows. I called several other places and heard prices of $60-$80. If that's the going rate I wouldn't mind but I called Sahan and they told me $40 via telephone and kept their word even after I showed up. Took care of me in less than an hour and my hair isn't too tight. I'll definitely be going back. Great job to these ladies.
