We have used dozens of Sagetech transponders in our UAV aircraft for 5 years. In that time we had one failure that seems to have been caused by a lightning strike as the power input was totally destroyed. Otherwise, all are still working reliably today. We have had good service from this company.
These folks made a good product for General Aviation, Clarity SV. At $1200 it was one of the more expensive ones but worked well. They quietly stopped making it, then stopped supporting, repairing or replacing faulty units. I have a 2 year old unit that suddenly stopped working. No opportunity to repair. I was told flat out they will not diagnose or repair their product.
Best micro-transponder ever. Looking forward to integrate their ACAS DAA solutions.
