Safi African Hair Braiding

Disgusting I mean so unprofessional I have had some horrible experiences coming here from over pricing to unprofessional business & no consideration of costumers my family and I have been supporting the safi business here on orange st & also the new location on Springfield Ave my most recent & most upsetting experience was with the Springfield location my daughter and I went to get our hair done keep in mind my baby is 6 years old they already tried to overcharge her from the start telling me her style would be $130+++ for knotless and Fulani braids in the front unbelievable I have never paid this much for my child ever these are the prices I pay so moving forward they continue our hair & as im observing my babies hair something does not seem right my baby go back to school for 1 week && c

Went to get my hair crotche and they did not finish the back of my head. Charged me $120. When I went back she gave me $20 back and said the work she didn't finish is only worth $20. Never going back! Do not recommend the Safi location on Roseville Avenue or the location on Springfield Avenue in Newark

Safi is a sweetheart, This was my first time doing braids and she was so welcoming and profesional. She gave me all the guidance I needed and even walked me to the extension store. I have Nala braids with extensions in blonde and pink. My overall experience was good, it’s a process that takes time, 5h for my length. Price was good given the amount of hours and work that this require. I am happy and I would recommend anyone to visit her. She will listen to what you want.

I've been here. Few times periodically , only one time I've been satisfied. I'd like to receive the same service when I'm spending 40 as I would if I'm spending $150 and better I came here today because I was pressed for time and wanted two braids, I knew I should have walked out when they told me $50 yet I settled for 40 because again I had somewhere to be . Not only is the hair that was used not good my hair is coming out already the thread that was holding the 2 braids together came loose all within hours of leaving here. I literally live 3 mins away and now see why I got an extra 15mins away to Littleton and South Orange Ave cause they would never

Horrible service. First they told me they wash but station for hair washing do not have the right washing head so they have to use a bucket and wash bit by bit. The hair service girls babysit as well as do hair same time. One of the baby was left in thr chair and he fell face down. I screamed. All the lady could say was it will make her stronger. This was the worse experience ever. My hair wash not properly dried and they started the corn row right away. I will never go there again.
