I count myself as very fortunate to have discovered Melissa. This sweet lady is a unicorn! I am currently on a healing adventure and trying to heal my body from trauma that started in childhood and just continued well into adult hood. In various groups, other people suggested Thai Massage as they found it helpful for releasing trauma from the body. When I booked my first appointment, I made sure to mention that. Melissa did a little research and tried to familiarize herself with using Thai Massage as a trauma therapy. And she has been absolutely wonderful! I have general tightness in my back and neck, have done a lot of PT, dry needling, cupping, massage, you name it. I went and saw Melissa last week for my first experience with Thai Massage and had a great experience! She used an herbal massage oil that was very relieving and in conjunction with her techniques, I was very loose afterward. I look forward to going back for some regular treatment.

I went to see Melissa because of a pulled muscle and some joint pain. I'd never experienced Thai Yoga Massage before, and it was truly amazing. Melissa has years of experience but takes the time to ask and listen. She is both strong and gentle, explaining what was going on in my body and the how-why of the movements she was applying. The session made a world of difference in my range of motion. Melissa demonstrated a series of follow-up stretches to maintain the relief and mobility, and she checked in a few days later to see how I was doing. Very professional! I look forward to scheduling my next session.

Had my first Thai Yoga Massage at Saanti Massage Studio this week, and I'm amazed. While I've had lots of Swedish / deep tissue massages, and loved the relaxation they bring, Melissa Chaffin combined a different massage technique with stretching for truly therapeutic results. My body feels better than it has in years: more limber, more integrated, less pain - a strong feeling of well-being that has stayed with me. I can't wait for my next session - I'm a convert!

Melissa listened carefully and made sure she understood my issues. She checked in with me when massaging the sore areas. Afterwards my muscles felt totally released and relaxed. Melissa is extremely skilled, knowledgable and empathetic. I recommend her highly and will definitely return!
