Running With Scissors Hair Salon

I liked the stylist Brandy so a 5+ for personality. Three stars for the trim though. It wasn't what I expected after explaining what I wanted & in less than two weeks I would have needed another trim. I had requested a dry cut which she did but was charged a minimal amount (don't charge for a service not rendered!) for a shampoo which she only misted my hair with just water.

Brandy at Running with Scissors is the first hair stylist that our little one has felt comfortable with! She is so kind, professional, friendly, and accommodating. She has a calm and confident demeanor that ensures our child feels safe during haircuts. The salon has a welcoming, spacious, non-overstimulating atmosphere that puts us all at ease. Thank you for being awesome!!

Brandy did an absolutely amazing job for my 3 year old boy! she was patient, kind and did so well with all my son’s cowlicks and crazy hair. she even spiked his hair a little in the front and it looks super cute!

Brandy is the absolute best, and it’s always a pleasure to see her! When I needed a change with my bangs, she advised and cut them in a style that suits my face much better. She also does great highlights, and prices have always been reasonable. I’ve never felt more confident and proud of my hair!

I have had Maria cut my hair a few times. First cut was good so I went back. Second cut needed to be fixed by different salon, but I gave her yet another chance. Most recent cut last week was awful. I was very specific about what I wanted, but she ignored my request completely. Once I saw the first couple of layers she was cutting, I knew it was going to be a disaster...and it was. She talks too much, gets distracted easily, and is also very aggressive in her combing and styling. She is a bully. It seems if you even remotely complain or criticize, she will take it out on you and your hair. Maria does a great job if you don't anger her by being specific about what you want, and especially if you don't even remotely complain about what you didn't like about the last time she cut your hair.
