Horrific. Photos & video below. 1. Booked the appointment via Vagaro 2. Was given the incorrect address thus disabling me from receiving services. I booked 1 massage 1 full set acrylic 1 partial highlight. Arrived, was told they were calling the nail tech for my appointment & facial (never asked for a facial & they didn’t know where the nail tech was) then was asked to sit for my hair. I was kind polite excited & reluctant to have something done given I was just released from hospital bc of a pulmonary embolism. I showed photos of IDEAS I had, was told by the person ( for respect purposes I’ll withhold names bc that’s the type of person I am) I was told by my hairstylist she didn’t like the bleach/color they had at the salon & didn’t like that the owner was telling her what to do in order

This was my second time visiting this salon. The hairdresser I had was more than professional and compassionate with me. I love the services I received for my hair. On the other hand when I explained to the owner through text prior to my appointment that I suffer from depression and haven’t been taking the greatest care of myself because of it and that I was embarrassed of the condition of my hair she seemed understanding in her response. However when she called my hairdresser when I was in the salon I overheard her telling her that she doesn’t want “people like that” “who are depressed” in her salon. I didn’t appreciate it, as if I didn’t already feel bad and vulnerable and just looking for help for my hair. So yes they need to watch what they say around clients and not discriminate again

Before coming in, I confirmed the price multiple times — they told me $44 for a simple blow dry and straightening. When it was time to pay, they tried to charge me $75 instead. My hair isn’t long or thick, so there was no reason for the price to change that much. There were two ladies working, and it was clear one didn’t know what they were doing. I came with my friend, and one of the stylists was literally standing there watching the other do my hair because she didn’t know how to do my friend’s hair. It was uncomfortable and unprofessional. When I went to pay, I tried using Apple Pay, but they didn’t even know how to use their own machine. I ended up waiting around forever just to pay an overcharged price. Gina is amazing. My first time here and gave great guidance and support. The environment is peaceful. I will recommend anyone to come here.
