Cvetelina (Lina) is the best stylist I have ever met. She is not only talented and professional, but also kind and genuine. She can make anyone, even people not used to salons, feel comfortable. She transformed my frazzled, mutant-zebra hair—distressed from various drugstore highlighting kits, dyes, and DIY bleaches—into shiny, healthy, hair, beautifully cut, colored, and styled. She also gave me volume where I have hair loss. Also, whereas my scalp usually acts up after I color my hair myself, it felt calm and cool in her hands. She is a true maestra. She is very experienced, has an artist’s intuition and an eye for detail—myriad stars.

There was lovely conversation with the hairdresser I got, Medina, who unfortunately gave me a very uneven cut that looks nothing like what we agreed on. I came here since it looked like a nice place & a bit more expensive for what I imaged would be a better cut. The results were far from what we talked about & very uneven. Which I then had to get my hair cut off much more at a different place. I was super upset since this was a transition from long to super short hair & Medina was more present with our conversation than my hair. I kept the from long for styling purposes by the amount of long hair she kept was extremely uneven & not even in straight lines. There is a photo of the extra long pieces we had to cut to get the sides even & straight. Along with what we showed her & what we got.

Had a great experience with Madina! She did haircut + color + highlight for me. As someone who just moved from nyc to studio city I do feel her skillset is like the best stylist who did my hair in East village. This place is superb with coffee/tea/muffins, I sit there for 4 hours so really appreciate some snacks during the process. Overall, I’ll recommend this place, especially Madina. She’s just awesome!

I got my hair done by Kaley and she exceeded all expectations! I have blonde hair that has been previously damaged so I am always a skeptic but oh my gosh my hair has never felt better. She's so sweet and funny and the whole visit was so much fun and my hair is thanking me! Would recommended her every single time.
