New to Salem, and Royal Blendz is within walking distance. Thought I'd give it a shot. Great haircut and beard trim. I'll be going back.

Asked for a burst taper fade on Friday, walked out with the worst mullet. Idk if the guy I had was new to the shop or just old but all he did was shave my sides, he didn't touch the majority of my hair. As I'm getting off the chair I ran my fingers through my hair and he had left a clip in there. He didn't even fix it, even though now it was super uneven. I ended up going to my usual barber at Mario Antonio in Beverly, he said that my hair was so badly cut an uneven one of the other barbers should've stopped me at the door. I had also gotten burns on the back of my neck (from what I was told some barbers modify their clippers so the blades sit farther back and closer to the motor). Juan Santana is the best barber I have ever gone to. He's the only one who knows how to use the shears to get a good blend on the top.

These guys are the best. I normally go to Santana, but they are all excellent barbers. It’s great too because they will always try to squeeze you in even when fully booked. As the manager said when I called near closing time, trying to get a cut: “Hey man, we know that a haircut is more than just looking better, it makes you feel better…so I will don’t my best to get you in because it’s important to you!” Wow! This is the reason we must protect small businesses, it’s not just a transaction, it’s a friendship when done right, and these guys do everything right. Go give them a try, they cut kids hair too!
