Rosy's Ultimate Salon

Roya is very good, no too social, strictly business, which was fine by me. Speak to her directly to book. Other workers twice messed up my appointments. It's a mainly Spanish speaking business. Tv channels tuned to Spanish channels and several fliers and brochures are written in Spanish. Nothing wrong with that, just be prepared is all, because I wasn't. Roya was a few minutes late but that didn't matter. Her technique was good. The room was a bit too small for me. She uses a kitchen timer to set the hour. Not too talkative, so you have to tell her if she's putting to much pressure on your muscles because she won't ask you. Went there on a groupon but probably won't go again. Too much competition out there to ignore .

I have gone to super expensive hair salons as well as cheaper ones, and I honestly can't tell much of a difference when it comes to hair cuts (would be different for hair coloring, etc). I love Rosy's salon because it is affordable, convenient, and great! I have very fine/thin hair, but Rosy always does a great job of giving me layers that make my hair appeal fuller. She also is so great with the blow drying (that costs extra though). She is very sweet and takes her time with you. I think some of the negative reviews on here are partly because there can be a small language barrier, but I have never found it an issue. As long as you tell and show her what you need/want, she will listen :)

If you have gone to mid-high end salons then this is going to feel like an extremely unprofessional experience. I have been there 3 times and two of those times the stylist was late (both times it was the owner). The last time I had to wait almost an hour and another stylist ended up showing up early and doing the work. The owner didn’t even bother to apologize and when I brought it up she said “oh I thought it was Wednesday and the front desk guy should’ve reminded me”. The front desk guy was frantically calling her cell to no avail for about 1 hr until she showed up, when she did, she decided to have her nails done by the aesthetician! I feel bad for the staff because they were really nice and apologetic but the owner is a horrible boss with terrible customer service. The prices are good

I bought the groupon that was $64 for highlights and haircut and decided to buy it. Once I arrived, the whole store was run down and unclean but I ignored that. Immediately felt unwanted the second I walked in, Rosy was very hostile and there was no hospitality and she had terrible customer service. There was one other person in the store so I should’ve known. The store was messy and dirty looking. Rosy said that i’d have to pay an extra $20 and I said okay and she took me to the chair. Everything was unorganized and unprofessional. I felt the urge to get up and leave before she could touch my hair but I didn’t want to be rude. She tied the black cover a little too tight around my neck and never asked if it was alright. She then told me to comb my own hair. She started to highlight my hair

After 4 years of living here, I finaly decided to go to a hair salon, so I bought a Groupon for a full highlights with a haircut and I have to say that I'm very happy with the results. Considering that I'm very picky and jealous with my hair. Martha treats me very professional and she was very patient with me. I highly recommend this place. I will definitely come back soon.
