Rose Nails

I really wanted to like this place. They were close and got me in quick. When I was late, coming from a prior appt, they were accommodating. I don’t get manicures often so I don’t have much to compare it to but I was pleased with many hands and feet and the service. The following week I got what is called a paronychia (who knew), or infection of the nail bed. It was terribly painful. I went to urgent care twice; first time to diagnose and get antibiotics the second time to have the ensuing abscess drained as the swelling and throbbing was increasingly painful. Pics show progression from swollen infection & abscess, to post-abscess drain, to healing and skin loss.

I have been here a couple times always getting great service. First of all you can walk in and they try ur best to fit you in. Though they also do appointments. They are always busy so sometimes I had to wait when I didn’t have an appointment. Always been really comfortable chairs and I love their manicure and pedicures.

Okay. 2 years ago I got a pedicure here and got an infection and had to go on antibiotics. A few weeks ago I decided to give it another shot (the location is convenient for me) and get my fingernails done. The nail tech was really nice but a little rough. My nails looked great (I got a fill and gel) so I decided I’d go again. Today I went and the nail tech was rude and short with me. She was rough and at one point I told her a part of my finger was burning and asked her to scrape off the acrylic that was underneath my nail on my skin. She said “later”. So I said yes I know you’ll take it off later but it’s burning. Again she said “I’ll take it off later” and continued on the opposite hand and didn’t help my burning finger until she got to it in her process. Also I didn’t realize it until a

I have tried hard to give them the benefit of the doubt, but I have had several horrible experiences back to back. I asked the tech to separate my toes so polish wouldn’t smear and she ignored me. When I reached down to show her where my toes needed to be separated, she knocked my hand away. She was an older woman who was rude the entire time. I will never, ever go back.

TORN UP! Hurts! AWFUL service. Obviously 👀 DIRTY and Rundown. I’m done giving @rosenail a chance. #prairievillage can DO BETTER.
