Roots Southern Salon

This was my first time at Roots Southern! Omg!! Am so blown away. The entire space was absolutely STUNNING! They offered me free coffee or water and my hair stylist was so unbelievably kind. She did a phenomenal job and was so fast!! She was done in under 30 minutes! I wasn’t in a rush but this salon is perfect for anyone who needs a quick style if needed! I will be coming back 100%!! I love my hair I am so pleased with it!! Much much love 💕🫶🏻

Delia is not only the best in town, she’s truly one of the best in the business. A great stylist is about so much more than how your hair looks when you walk out (though she nails that every time). It’s the relationship you build - the trust, the conversation, the way she makes you feel like your appointment is the most important part of her day. You never feel rushed, and you always feel heard. I’m so grateful to have found her and am proud to also call her my friend.

This is Cassandra Bingham, mother of Rylie Kimball. Rylie was seen in your salon on 10/2/2025 for her initial hair consultation for hair extensions by Keda. She paid a down payment of $646.49 up front and was told "she would pay half now and half later." Rylie had her hair appt. on 10/08/2025 to have the hair extensions installed. Rylie arrived at the salon at 1:45 pm and checked out at 9:46 pm which is the first red flag. It shouldn't take 8 hours to install 2 rows of hair extensions. Looking at Rylie's bill she was charged $300 for Hand Tied-install per row, #3 rows. She was charged $45 for a haircut. The 2nd final bill was $1357.62. The grand total bill was $2,004.11. Such an awesome and welcoming salon. I love unplugging and going here. Delia is the literal best. She knows exactly what my hair needs and what I want even when I can't articulate it well. I always feel SO GOOD in her chair and walking out of the salon. Won't catch me going to anyone else. ♥️

Kayla was very welcoming and knowledgeable. I had my first biolage color treatment and a haircut, and she took time to listen to my goals. Together we came up with a plan and she meticulously executed each step with care and precision. She even gave me some tips I haven’t tried for styling my curly hair at home. The end result is perfection! The color looks so natural and my hair hasn’t felt this good in quite some time! I also want to note how refreshing it is to see how well everyone works together and the support among team members at Roots. Beautiful view of River Street was the cherry on top!
