I just moved down here recently from NYC and struggled to find a good colorist for blonde highlights. Like, struggledddd. Chavon was absolutely AMAZING. I can't urge you enough to go to her. She's one of the best colorists I've ever been to. She also gave me an amazing haircut, and everything at Roots is reasonably priced. If you're looking for a good cut/color spot in this area and haven't been able to find anywhere good, I feel your pain. This is absolutely the place to go. I am beyond impressed with her. My hair was a HOT mess from a few really bad color appointments elsewhere. Chavon fixed my hair perfectly. I am so so relieved to find this salon. I am also incredibly picky, so trust me, she's really that good.

Cannot recommend Roots salon enough! Kelli gave me the best haircut I’ve ever had. She listened to what I wanted and did the haircut in steps so I could give input throughout to make sure I liked where it was headed. Truly my favorite salon experience I’ve had. Everyone I encountered was so kind and made the experience great from start to finish!

I have been a client at Roots for a while and can honestly say it is always an amazing experience from start to finish. The salon itself is absolutely beautiful—modern, welcoming, and impeccably clean. I love chatting with Juan while checking in and throughout my appointment!! The service is top-notch, with the staff going above and beyond to ensure I am always well taken care of. My stylist, Zach, is an absolute gem! He is incredibly knowledgeable and always makes my hair look amazing. He makes great recommendations and executes them perfectly, giving me a style that I absolutely love. If you’re looking for a place with skilled professionals, great customer service, and a relaxing environment, this is the salon to go to. Highly recommend!

Zach has been cutting and coloring my hair for over a decade. He is the best at what he does, and is an absolute sweetheart to boot. The salon is an oasis, from the warm welcome from Juan at reception, to the beautiful decor (and of course the chilled glass of wine and snacks ;), it’s truly a wonderful experience from start to finish. My two teenage girls have also been spoiled by ‘Mr. Zach’ since they were little. We wouldn’t dream of going to anyone else!
