Very clean, very friendly, very fast! I went initially for myself. Returned the next day with my daughter... The staff is so sweet and accommodating! I returned a second time for myself to get my hair done on my birthday and they got me in and out! Definitely a return customer! I'm a little picky but they are patient with me, I appreciate that they understand some of us really want our hair a certain way! I love it here for real!

I brought my daughter to Roots to get small knotless braids mid back length and it was truly the best experience we’ve ever had. Our stylist Nene was incredibly professional, courteous, timely, hardworking, and friendly from beginning to end. We called at 1:30pm and surprisingly was seen same day. As a single father it means a lot to find someone who not only does amazing work but also makes my daughter feel comfortable, respected, and cared for. Nene went above and beyond and the braids came out absolutely beautiful. If you’re looking for a place that values your time delivers top-tier quality and creates a warm welcoming environment for both kids and parents Roots is the place to go. Honestly a true and faithful lifetime customer to this beautiful shop that has a staff full of talented and good spirited women who really do a great job every time. As a mixed woman with Difficult texture hair it’s honestly hard to find a shop that I can not only fully in love with the services provided but being treated with care and respect and love by these beautiful women. All of these wonderful and talented women are so good at what they do and the services provided that I will never go anywhere else.

I came here June 6, 2024 for the first time for knotless box braids, the owner was very nice and welcoming but as far as my hair I feel as though it could’ve been better for $200.It’s June 27 my braids are loose and fuzzy at the top and it don’t look like I just got my hair done or paid 200 for it my hair is uneven all my braids is different lengths. At this point I just feel like these African shops just care bout your money instead of taking pride in their work
