Rome Nail And Spa

I drive 30 minutes to go to this salon. I drive by many nail salons to get there (like driving through New Hartford). I love this place. I get acrylic and it's very cool how they lengthen your nails (no glue involved!). I have tried other salons and I have had rude service, crooked/incomplete nails, sanitization concerns... I always end up back at Rome Nails and Spa. There may not be a lot of conversation at this place, but they are hard workers, detail oriented, and professional. They are the only place that actually focuses on cutting down my cuticles. You never see them on their phones. You do see them practicing styles and designs in their free time. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! Me and my two friends went in expecting to get our nails done around 12:50, they close at 5:30. There was maybe 3 other people in there. We asked for 3 acrylic sets, the man at the counter got visibly annoyed/upset we asked him to do that. He continued to say “3? No 2 only 2” And put his head down onto the counter, sighed, laughed, then look at the other workers, started talking (we did not know what they were saying) and gesturing to us. He asked us if we wanted designs we all said yes. The designs all included a French tips with different designs (heart, zebra stripes, animal print,) (can include photos if needed) The prices on the board said $70 after we showed our deign he said the price was $95 for each. Never going back. Did not even get the service.

TERRIBLE place to go, there was three of us that went around almost 1pm so they had plenty of time, and when the man at the front desk ask how many we said three acrylic and he sighed and when he asked if there was design on them we said yes and he let out a even bigger sigh and put his head down on the desk, then proceeded to say he could only do two of our nails, then shot the price up to 95 for the most simple designs. so we walked out and we will never return to this horrible establishment.

Very expensive I charged 83.00. They look very pretty from afar. I love the color. I got tips and powder dip unfortunately they are very raised very uneven and bumpy keep getting caught in my hair because they aren't filled close enough to the cuticle. I'll have to get refilled within a week of getting them. I wouldn't mind the price if I wasn't having to go somewhere else to get them fixed. Not very happy. Won't be returning there.

I finally after a year was able to go and get my nails done with my mom . We chose Rome nail and spa due to the reviews and the simple fact that they were one of the only salons open on Sunday. Price for both was $141 plus a $25 tip each for the two nail techs and $12 for eyebrows . ( I thought this was quite high for what we got as both nails were pretty basic , not too long , and no gems , it’s looking roughly $70 per nail set when for a GOOD long gel I’d pay a max of $50 , never more than $60 *See nails below* While we were there another customer had gotten a plain black sport cut nail and was charged $65 so we figured the prices there just may be higher than other salons in the area Let me specify why to see if anyone else had this happen to them as well ; We went down 2/9 to go an
