It's an 'old school's barber shop. Just the way I like it. There are two barbers working there. I prefer the way Julie cuts my hair, but you can't go wrong with either one. I like the fact that you don't need to make an appointment. Only street parking is available. There are meters on the avenue, but you can park for free on the residential street two blocks down.

$27, plus tip, for a mere TRIM... Honestly, I wasn't going to say anything, and I don't do these Google reviews regularly, but I took a look in the mirror after the fact and the level of service and lack of effort in the haircut, especially after a short time later, my hair is basically untouched. And please, don't turn the chair away from the mirror and appear to be busy. And to accept a generous tip after the fact? People work hard, and for your prices, mixed with your level of service, an adjustment is really needed, and not just to your blades....

I will be a return customer for as long as I live in the area. Absolutely fantastic business. The gentleman running the place is a rare breed these days, and he ensures that you look good and professional, and not like a walking piece of modern "art". You don't have explain what a traditional haircut is, because he's actually a barber and not some neo-clown trying to make a name for himself - he actually cares about doing his trade. The place had a rustic feeling, everything was quick and well managed, and surprisingly cheap. I highly recommend this place to anyone who needs a real haircut.

Does not treat any member of the LGBTQ with the respect they deserve. A customer was asked to leave because of their partner preference. This kind of stuff where acceptance is not tolerated has to stop. It was a hair cut man get over yourself.
