This is a good starting point for the Cascade Falls loop trail. Cascade Falls will be very close to the halfway point. If you start here for the Boot Loop, enjoy the toughest climb of the Pine Mountain Trail.
Good place to find a less-traveled route to Cascade Falls. Also a trailhead for the Big Poplar Loop.
It is a great hike!!
This is where you want to go if you’re looking for the Wolfden Loop. I arrived around 10am and was the first one there, but when I left around 1+pm, it was full. Quite a small parking lot. Remember to bring $5 cash for the parking fee.
The entire Pine Mountain Trail is wonderful!
