Rock's is just the best, both locations at that! Everyone is so sweet and polite. They even accommodate my grandmother who I usually bring along with me. It's awesome that I've finally found my forever-barber in Tyee!

Mixed experience. If you book with Tony, you’ll have an amazing time—he’s fantastic. I’m sure there are other talented stylists here as well, but I strongly advise avoiding Scott. With Tony currently out, I decided to try someone new, and unfortunately, Scott completely ruined my haircut. Honestly, I would have had better luck at Great Clips. The cut was passable until, for some inexplicable reason, he decided to use an electric razor at the end, haphazardly trimming certain areas. I have no idea what he was thinking. I won’t be returning unless Tony is available. Tony 5 stars, Scott 0 — can't do a 2.5 star rating so I rounded down.

From the moment I stepped in to this Salon I felt so welcomed. They are very professional and have great communication with me regarding appointments etc. It's the cleanest salon I've ever been to. The location is great and I usually spend the rest of the day exploring downtown Durham, many great resturants and businesses nearby. TREAT YOURSELF! Have to mention Carrie my stylist, I have never had a better stylist. While she cuts your hair you can almost hear the gears turning in her head about the steps she wants to take to give you your desired look. She plays the long game and knew exactly what to do to get my hair how I wanted it. She is an artist and my head was the canvas. She saw from the first appointment what needed to be done over our next several visits to accomplish the goal! I

I had the pleasure of visiting this exceptional barber shop as a groomsman for a wedding, and they went above and beyond. The attention to detail and level of care were top-notch. Nate, who handled my beard trim, was not only highly skilled but also incredibly personable, making the entire experience truly enjoyable. From start to finish, the service was impeccable—a class act all around. I highly recommend them for anyone looking for a refined grooming experience.

Scott is the best! Been going to him for years, and he always delivers. I have lost count of how many times people have asked me “where do you get your hair cut?” Because he does such a good job. I always send them to Scott, and they always rave about his service, experience and attention to detail.
