Rocker Head

A very cool spot! Great haircut by Cathy, who was fun to be with and knows her stuff. And fair price for a top-notch service.

As a guy with long hair, it can be hard to find the right place to get a cut without spending an arm and a leg. Rocker Head has always been a fun, friendly place and I always come out happy!

Cathy is awesome and knows how to cut hair! I wear vintage styles frequently and so I need a particular cut that most hairdressers nowadays are not familiar with, but Cathy took one look at my reference photo and knew exactly what to do. She's also willing to accommodate specific, particular requests without making me feel like I'm asking too much from her, or making me feel stupid. Plus, she is super cool and very nice and easy to talk to (and I am usually really awkward whenever I'm in a stylist's chair, so that's a relief!). She and her granddaughter (who run the salon together) are great. The decor is fun (especially the massive vintage barber chairs), and there is always good music playing. I will keep making the trip out from Jersey to visit Rocker Head!
