Rock Paper Scissors Salon

I've been to Rock Paper Scissors Salon on Broadway Street in Mt. Vernon, IL multiple times now, and overall, I've had a great experience every visit. I've had my hair bleached, dyed, cut, and washed here, and the stylists always do a fantastic job. The staff is super friendly, welcoming, and professional. They listen to what you want and take their time to make sure you're happy with the results. One thing to note is that there's a strong odor of bleach that hits you when you walk in, especially from the back area—but honestly, that’s kind of expected at a salon that regularly bleaches and dyes hair. I liked my hair style for my wedding 10-24-25. It was 60.00 and I tipped 40.00. however had I known I was being bad mouthed by the stylist in front of other clients and employees. Also to my daughter for running a few minutes late. I would have cancelled my appointment and definitely would not have left a $40.00 tip. Instead I would have went to my stylist at Vogue.
