I have visited this barbershop two times, and both times the barber has said something like “I have a vision for your hair” and then has just started cutting my hair. Both times, he has given me haircuts that I don’t like. He seems like a nice enough guy, and the reviews on here suggest that my experience is an outlier, but I’m extremely annoyed that, on two occasions, I have walked in looking only for something between a trim and a cut and, on two occasions, have walked out with two thirds of my hair on the ground. Maybe the issue has something to do with me and my hair in particular, but in my experience, the barber needs to learn to slow down, ask questions, ignore his “vision,” and give the customer what he wants.
